Robinson only has 1 tackle and 2 assisted tackles in three games. And ZERO pass breakups and ZERO INTs

Is he in the Miles doghouse? He is possibly our best shutdown corner. Does it bother anyone else that he is not ALWAYS on the field?

He will be gone to the NFL after next year... just seems like a waste when he is on the sidelines. (assuming he is in the doghouse)

Discuss!

apparently he's not the best corner all around, if he were he'd be playing.

Dumb thread. Miles plays the players who:
1. Are the best at their position
2. Are team players who follow rules

I'm sure he's been taken down a notch as a result of or after the suspension.

Bottom line is Miles is the decision maker.

You'll probably get a lot of bites with any post with these words in it.

How miserable is football season for folks like this?

Is that the case? Lack of talent? or is Miles keeping him out to teach a lesson?

Not concerned about his production at all. His production is about to go up now that we are entering SEC play.

Not necessarily true rouge. He obviously is getting a slap on the wrist right now, and Les loves Jalen Collins. I mean who wouldn't? The kid's a great person, and he's been playing huge so far. I think Rashard definitely has more upside, but he has to prove his worth again now that Collins has stood out!

When White and Collins start getting burnt, get back with us. Until then, let's put Collins in the top 2 rounds, Mills in the top 4 rounds, Martin in the top 5 and next year put White and Robinson both in the first round.

Did Robinson play more than Collins against ULM? I don't recall seeing Collins all that much that game, but admittedly I didn't play close attention at all times.

right, so play him now! in today's world of college football, there is no time to waste with players bolting after 3 yrs.

He's not some recruit that we have not seen on the field. WE KNOW WHAT HE CAN DO!

Like this thread, using tackles to measure a CB's productivity is dumb.

First of all, why are you looking at the stats of a cornerback that has played in two games against vastly inferior opponents?

Second, do you realize that some of the best cornerbacks have the worst stat sheets? In 2008/2009 nnamdi asumgha (sp?) Had like 30 tackles and 1 interception, but was the most sought after cornerback. His coverage skills were so good no one threw his way. Not saying he's that good but stats on a CB don't mean shite.

no, I don't think there's any great difference in what he and Collins bring to the table at the moment.

Collins' issues his first couple yrs were run support and consistency in coverage. in that order. the first one is why he lost his starting spot to Mills and Tre in successive seasons, moreso than his coverage. he looks to have improved in both areas, and RR got suspended. Collins took advantage. good for him.
