i accepted a trade that, while I definitely got the best of he still very much benefited. I got Murray and he wold've got Maclin. The thing is he would have Marshall, Green (when he comes back) and then Maclin. Not to mention Roddy White and Bowe. He didn't even consult us he was going to veto it. What is the best course of action?

Not when you consider who else he has.

That trade is very off balanced..... I try to only veto trades that involve collusion but also have to keep the best interest of the league in mind. Stupidity of one player in a money league can cause a lot of issues and ruin the league quickly.

That has nothing to do with it. He is trading one of the best RB through 2 games for a WR that could arguably be his 4th best receiver. It makes no sense.

So what if it is. He agreed to it. That's his fault. I shouldn't have to pay a punishment for his shitty decision making.

This. Shitty manager is a shitty manager.

I'd send an email to the commish asking him to keep in mind that the other manager is a grown man and can handle himself. No collusion then no veto. If no response then email the league detailing what you expect from a commish concerning trades. Big Brother is out there.

Like I said..... Stupidity of one player can cause a lot of problems if allowed to make trades that make ZERO sense. Now if he had Forte, Gio, & Bell and all his WR were hurt then it would make "a little" sense...... But he is good at WR so it's DUMB!!! Your commish is not immature, he's smart.

This will backfire since the other members will be glad the trade was vetoed.

If this is a money league the commish has a little more responsibility when evaluating trades.

If anything ask the commish to put to a league vote..... Will be same result though.

We would have to know what his rb's are to determine that. Even then he could get a much better wr for how well murray is playing right now. It's really shitty and dumb for him.

Saying that, it shouldn't have been vetoed. If he wants to be an idiot that's his right.

So you get an RB1 and he gets a WR3 (WR4 when AJ returns)
Nowhere near a fair trade and looks like collusion from the outside

It's bad enough to be potential collusion.

What's OP's relationship to this other owner?

This. I commish one league and am a member of another with lots of blockbuster trades. While no trade is going to be 100% even, it's not fair to the rest of the league when one guy trade rapes another and creates an imbalance. Like obviously I would never allow somebody to trade Calvin Johnson for Rod Streater or some shite, even if it isn't collusion and is due to one guy just being stupid. The guy that gets a 1st round caliber player for free basically gains a huge advantage over everyone. But then it gets tricky to evaluate in gray area trades

Huh? That's exactly why it's a shitty trade. He has green and Marshall he's not exactly hurting at WR

lol. Imagine you had his roster... Now imagine him offering you Maclin for Murray. That feeling you just got, that's what all the other owners would be feeling if that trade went through.

I firmly believe in not vetoing a trade if at all possible. I dont think a trade has ever been vetoed in our league of 5 yrs, and only a handful in another league of 17 yrs. I wouldnt veto this trade, but I would call you and say "what the frick". I would then call the other guy and say "what the frick". It's a dick move by you, plain and simple. All the other managers will be pissed off as they should be. You are abusing the system as is the other manager and as posted earlier, a league wont survive long if you have idiots that are trading Murray for Maclin. Murray for Antonio Brown is even. Murray for Maclin and Stacy would be fair. Murray for Maclin straight up is bullshite...and you know it.
