Does he turn it around?

How long do you keep waiting?

I'm almost ready to cut him in a 10 man.

Bum ankle and the guy needs a ton of volume to do anything in the first place.

I didn't drop him - yet. But easily benched.

I want to see what he does over the next few weeks - his schedule is favorable.

ETA: I actually haven't started Gerhart.

Layover from the magical year Peyton Hillis had. Gerhart is questionable again this week and didn't practice today.

I can't believe the "experts" hyped him up as a third or fourth round pick

It's a huge conspiracy. They want a good white RB.

because of his draft position I can't do it. he's just gonna ride the bench all season unless he turns it around. I can't let go

I got him in the 5th and the only reason I took him was because it was way past his ADP. the next RB to go was Joique Bell. I screwed the pooch

I want to cut him, but I learned my lesson last season. I was in a bind last season with WR's and it was week 3 Rueben Randle and Alshon Jeffery hadn't done a damn thing in the first few weeks, so I cut them only to see Alshon go off the rest of the season and Randle didn't do bad as a fill in. I vowed this year to be patient and hold on to the guys starting slow longer. For most of these guys there is a reason we all drafted them before the last round. They have either shown skills in the recent past or they were highly ranked.
I honestly don't expect much from him at this point, but I'll give it a few more weeks.

I'm hoping he's resting to heal and then does something halfway productive against some of the CURRENTLY low rated rushing defenses he sets to play - so I can trade him for something, anything.

I haven't cut him yet, but it's tempting as hell.

I'm giving him 2 weeks.
