There is nothing inside and no sign outside. Anybody know anything about this?

Yeah, it was family owned and the son couldn't work there as much as he had been. Food was classic delicious Hi-Ho BBQ IMHO

Yes, they nailed after the first year...I guess I will have to drive to Hammond more often...

It's been closed...
But you don't have to drive to Hammond, cause there's one across from Wayne's right off the Livingston / Frost exit (hwy 63)
But you'd be foolish to choose Hi-Ho oh no, over Wayne's ...

I went there once. It was aggressively terrible.

I've eaten a lot of BBQ in my time, and Hi-Ho is the 2nd worst I've ever had. The only place worse was a now-defunct place in Orange Beach that gave me food poisoning for a week... and yet if given the choice, I'd still consider eating there over Hi-Ho.

Talk about a place that lives on nostalgia. They never should have expanded and allowed others to see how bad they were.

These threads always crack me up. Hi Ho should never have called itself bbq... Because it isnt.
I love me some hi ho, and i wasnt raised n the hammond area. Its not bbq. Its a debris sammy with cheese. My wife, on the otherhand, hates it. Touche.

I'm not one to bash restaurants, but that location was terrible. Every time I went there the staff didn't hide the fact that they'd rather be watching TVs or on their phone then serving you.
Location in Livingston is awesome, hi-ho fries with beef is legit
