BR folks, looking to get some info on local bars known for a specific drink. Anyone know of any signature drinks that you absolutely have to try when you go to that place?

If you feel like gagging the whole time and then having the worst hangover of your life, I highly recommend the Cajun Martini at Duvic's

Don't know if it's specific to the BR location, but Ninfa's Ninfatini is excellent.

I don't know about places "known for a drink", but if you're looking for craft cocktails, Olive or Twist is your best bet.

This and Beausoleil are probably the top 2 in the city.

And Doe's is pretty good as well if you want a cocktail. Also Lock & Key.

Drinking Made Easy did an episode in Baton Rouge a year or two ago:

Drinking Made Easy - Baton Rouge

Some highlights:

Fais Do Do at Sammy's Highland

Gator Tea at Boudreaux and Thibodeauxs

Voodoo Punch at Boudreaux and Thibodeauxs

They also visited Fred's (interesting choice), Chimes, and Tin Roof Brewery.

It drives me insane that the lady in your avy/sig is wearing her bikini top upside down. Is this a stripper trend? I've noticed it with risque` types of models.

hmm, I never noticed that. Not sure why she (they?) do it. This girl is from Russia (I think) so maybe it's a foreign thing?
