Hoko Faniaka is of Tongan Descent, Sione Teuhema is of Tongan Descent, and Trey LMFAO is of Samoan.

Most Polynesain players have gravitated to the Mountain West or Pac 10.

Our staff has 3 current players and possible two more in next year's class.

I deserve that for being fat fingered. Sorry.

additional info: In 2012 there 30 players in the NFL of Polynesian descent. 5 played in the Super Bowl. Pretty amazing for such a tiny demographic.

It's pretty cool. I remember they did a story on this a few years ago.

Hoko will be gone but hopefully the two brothers can help us recruit any other Polynesians we are recruiting.

Does this mean we get to incorporate the Haka into our pregame?

Mawae is not the first someone preceded him by one year. Can anyone name him?

For a lot of those players there is a Mormon connection, for some reason, the Mormons have been pretty successful in getting converts among polynesians. That's why BYU has for years had way more than their fair share of poly's.
