Two of my best friends recently visited Colorado and are now seriously considering moving there. Is Colorado really one of the best places to live? My buddies are making it out to be some sort of utopian society.

My sister lives in Breckenridge and my brother lives in Vail. I find it harder and harder to come back after each visit.

Most likely going to make the move sometime early next year. Colorado is pretty awesome.

It's really nice, but the cost of living is very high. Hope they have really high paying jobs lined up.

Colorado is an example of how good life would be if people would just mind their own fricking business and let people live. And it's not just the weed.

Visited there last summer and if me and the mrs. decide to move that is one state that would be on top of our list.

Best thing about Colorado is BLM land IMO. Awesome place to live for awhile.

Colorado seems pretty similar to Virginia in a lot of ways.... I'm just wondering how bad the dirty hippy presence is in and around the Denver area. Both of my buddies are conservative leaning people.

Denver is clean. There are certainly dirt balls, but no more so than anywhere else and the aesthetics of the region mask it well. The people are pretty solid folk and being a transient city, Denver is welcoming to all outsiders.

I have spent considerable time around Maryland/NOVA, and it doesn't hold a candle to Denver, as it relates to quality of life. Now other parts of Virginia -- just not really my thing, since I prefer to be urban.

The only thing I ever really noticed in downtown Denver area is large amount of homeless, not sure why they just wouldn't up and move to California.

Downtown Denver is awesome and extremely clean. I would love to be in city that has MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL and lots of beer.

Well thats refreshing... thats probably my only big complaint about the deep south. It really isnt welcoming to outsiders. Is it easy to find a job in Denver?

IF i were to leave Texas, Colorado is where I would choose to relocate.
Then either Washington, Oregon, Utah or Arizona.
I like scenery.

Colorado is awesome, but it's too late for me to move there. Would need to be Wyoming, Montana, Idaho or slivers of New Mexico at this point.

Colorado Springs is very conservative

as are most of the areas around Denver, except for Boulder
