i don't take unnecessary chances on lot, i've got a show to go to, so i've been fortunate but i do know people who weren't as lucky

don't be a dingus. if someone says '6 up' then be aware

most busts are cause people are being careless/too obvious about what they're doing. slinging nugs is way more risky than you'd think

never ceases to amaze me how the cops look the other way for the nitrous folk. bribes'll do that...

look at a person's shoes. if they're newer/nicer sneakers they're probably an undercover. fanny packs, mustaches, bad tie dyes, etc. like they're trying to blend in but got their info on how to 'fit in' from a psa in the 80s. then again, some of us have fun with that & dress mockingly

some lots are way more sketchy than others. if you take a couple minutes to actually look around from a good vantage you'll probably spot the plainclothes cops doing the same thing

the closest i came to having trouble was before 6.17.10 (hartford). i parked at a meter cause if you're close to a town then you're kinda foolish to park on lot & deal with traffic or potential $20 parking. anyway, i took a shortcut through some woods by the train tracks & was mistaken for a nitrous dealer running the opposite direction by a plainclothes unit. i was wearing my normal earth-tones getup of cargo pants, hiking boots & a solid color T. was cuffed but didn't get my piece taken (lucky, eh? i know), stayed calm, spoke reasonably, but with a little indignation & was let go once they realized i wasn't the droid they were looking for. i parted by telling them in adamant terms that they needed to bust those nitrous scumbags. post show it was business as usual with the cops looking the other way. so much for good intentions...

so the lesson is don't look remotely sketchy & stay off the grass (as in don't go where other people aren't)

and don't offer the horses sugar cubes
