Can't sleep, so here are the matches/networks for Wednesday:

All matches at 1:45pm CT

Bayern München vs. Manchester City (FS1)
Chelsea vs. Schalke (FS2 in glorious SD locally)
Barça vs. Apoel Nicosia ( (FS+/alternate)
Ajax vs. Paris San Germain (ESPN3)
Roma vs. CSKA Moscow (ESPN3)
Athletic Bilbao vs. Shaktar (ESPN3)
Maribor vs. Sporting CP (ESPN3)
Porto vs. BATE (ESPN3)

Credit goes to Downtown Devin Brown for noticing that ESPN3 picked up the extra matches...eff paying Fox an extra $24.95 for the mobile platform.

Cabbing to Finn's around 12:30....clear a spot to the right of the taps for the lone Bayern fan among all the the sky blue shirts

Uneasy feeling about tomorrow at Allianz. Will be w/o Ríbêry, Bastian, Badstuber, & Javi (obviously). Also, Robben, Thiago & Rafinha trained but are unlikely to be fit enough.

Potential lineup guess (hendo prob knows better than me):

Neuer

Boateng Benatia(if fit) Dante

Lahm Rode Xabi Alaba

Müller Lewa FatGötze

Projections:

--Best match tomorrow may be Roma/CSKA Moscow...Roma terribly underrated, they might win 2-1 or so.

--"The final from Stamford Bridge, Chelsea 7, Schalke 1...now sending you to America's pregame..."

--A 2-2 draw at Allianz would suit me fine, depending on the lineup we put out there. A home loss here is precarious for the long haul. Taking 3 points is a Godsend.

Regardless, a fun day of fußball

Debating going to Finns after knocking off night shift at 1. Would be a good chance to wear my new City away Aguero kit.

Is the new food place there yet?

They call it "The Kitchen" and they have a new Chef that puts out a semi different menu each day.

Here's some info:

LINK

Wife and I went there last week and had:

Puerto Rico Bowl which was Steak, Sauted/Grilled Onions, Avocado, and tomatoes over a ton of Chimichuri Rice.(Very Good)

Irish Cheddar Empanada served with Sour Cream and tomatoes. (Very Good)

Debris Fries which were very good, but covered in green onion an parsley which was slightly a turn off.

Sheppard's Pie Fritter which was ok, would have been better if the mashed potatoes had more flavor.

All in all food is MUCH better than Bookoo.

I can see this being a 5-3 type of match.

I think the only thing I remember having at BooKoo was their nachos and thought they were good. Granted it was like 8 in the morning for an early match where we just stayed up and drank through the night

For a while, BooKoo was on point with the burger, but toward the end of their run it fell off quickly.

Still, that BooKoo sauce was bangin...

I had always heard pretty good things about the burger but never got a chance to try it. Not to completely derail the thread but now I want a company burger

Damn I miss Nola

Looking forward to trying the new food. Might come down weekend after this one. Depends on if I can find lodging. I'd rather not have to stay in BR and drive. Would be great to come for a weekend since I missed openers.
