Martin is one of my least favorite players in fantasy football, and he is obviously still worth owning. Why is this a thread?

Somebody dropped MJD in one of my 10 team leagues. I picked him up. I think it would be dumb not to pick him up and at least sit on him for a few weeks.

RBs just dont grow on trees. Martin is 2 years removed from being the 2nd best back in fantasy. It's week 2. I just dont get it.
Like the people dropping Gerhart already.. starting RB with no competition... yeah his team sucked the first two weeks, but you likely spent a 5th round pick on the guy.
It all boils down to who you are adding. Even then, there is always someone worse on your team you should be dropping

nope
you just said he shouldn't be owned in a 10-team league.
Since this thread is already bookmarked and you're knee deep in shite, you might as well try and explain yourself, although I'm not sure how you can finagle your way out of this one

Based on where he was likely drafted, yes.

Draft position doesn't really matter
Lacy has had a shitty start
Do you drop him?
Exactly.

The resident idiot in my league dropped him. I was pretty annoyed that he again did something so stupid. He's worth the roster spot.

I'm saying yes, he should still be owned. A lot of the top RBs have had rough starts, but dropping them now is a knee jerk reaction.
At this point he should be owned, but in your starting lineup? That's another story.
