Is now a position in the NFL's Corporate Office.

LINK

quote:

The commissioner announced that Anna Isaacson will be the league's vice president for social responsibility -- a new position -- in addition to her current role as the league's vice president of community affairs and philanthropy.

This is the world we live in.

ahh, so instead of growing a sack and dumping Goodell they think adding an extra HR office with a different title will be enough to make everyone forget?

What's the difference between

vice president for social responsibility

and

We need a "Bash NFL" board for the handfuls of daily threads.

A six-game suspension would be without pay and the length of the penalty could increase in these cases: an employee was involved in a prior incident before joining the NFL; violence involving a weapon; choking, repeated striking, or when the act is committed against a pregnant woman; or in the presence of a child. A second-time offender may petition for reinstatement after one year but there is no assurance the petition would be granted, the letter said.
To be counted as an "offense," a player would not necessarily have to be convicted in a court of law, but each incident will be judged on its own merits. The updated personal conduct policy had the approval of all 32 owners, Dominik's source said.

Yes because I am sure she knows exactly what its like to play football in the NFL and expected to be a male role model for the younger generation.

The NFL is starting to piss me off. They are too fricking political and it's unbearable.

Will this be the person who authorizes the firing of Goodell?

Or is this just a future scapegoat when more rapes/beatings/child-abuse are made public?

Clearly one needs to understand what it's like to play in the NFL before they can judge when it's appropriate to punch out your girlfriend in an elevator or whip your kid with a switch.
