Why are White/Lewis getting a pass on that last pass play?

I know Robinson committed the holding penalty, but it was White and Lewis that both covered the same guy leaving Hawkins wide open.

Yes, the penalty was horrible, but it only would've put them at the 29 and still a 45+ yard field goal. It was the blown coverage that actually cost the Saints the game for sure.

Now PRob has been horrible, but I love how he is the only person that screwed up on that play.

People are giving Lewis a pass for blowing that coverage? I must have missed that.

Also, Keenan Lewis is a proven corner.

Says no one

Go back to hating on Brees

White has been the best CB for the Saints so far this season.

Lewis had a prime Greer-like season last year so he is loved, understandably

I don't think a single poster has said PRob is the only problem with the secondary. He's just the biggest at this point.

I haven't looked at it since the game ended so my memory isn't perfect, but wasn't that just some lucky clusterfrick sandlot-looking play? Everybody looked lost on both sides and it looked like Hoyer just chucked it to a spot where it wouldn't be intercepted and the receiver just lucked out and barely got there in time to run under it.

If the play was legit, please explain what they were doing.

He gets there, its just late. Not sure who had the responsibility of the open man but somebody was confused in how they were handling the bunch formation.

I blame loomis for this. I mean, the guy only helped us win 1 frickin SB. I hope we win this weekend so everyone can start posting cool pics and farks of him again. Until then, I doubt Brees can throw more than 15 yards, not that it matters being jimmy G is soft and all. I won't even bring up the fact that Byrd doesnt have 15 interceptions already. Sproles would have had like 7 by now. The saints are so stupid.

Another problem I have with loomis...why the frick did he hire Jimmy G when we really needed a wide receiver? I really wonder what the FO thinks sometimes.
