Looking at the big name manufacturers.

Specifically Michael Kors, Joseph Abboud, Calvin K, & Kenneth Cole.

I read so many completely opposite reviews online... Plus, I fully intrust the OT to give me sound, unbiased advice at ALL times.

Here's a couple for example:
MK
Joseph Abboud
CK
Kenneth Cole

Anyone own any of these brands from Men's Wearhouse?

TIA!

buy a suit of your liking and get it tailored to fit.

fit is most important and then choosing the correct color for the occasion.

Better be prepared, shitty place to get suits.

Advice, you may find a better suit at Marshall's or Macy's and having it tailored.

all i get is KC from mens warehouse. I'm in a suite everyday job and I've never had a problem yet with wear and tear, only ongoing waist tailoring

I would never go to that place since they fired the dude with the beard that said "You're going to like the way you look, I guarantee it".

frick that place......(not that I've ever been there).

You're better off going to buy something off the rack at Macy's or Dillard's and getting it tailored.

I bought a suit from Men's Warehouse and the tailoring was a complete massacre. They also kept wanting to put me in suits that didn't fit properly.

You'll have to get lucky at Marshall's, but it's not impossible.

It is impossible at Macy's. They just don't carry higher line suits.

Dillard's carries a nice variety. Try and catch on their semi-annual sales and you can really score good deal.

So basically nobody likes MW.

Got it.

I have two Brooks Bros suits but I need one of two more and I would like a different brand. I've had a bad experience with Jos A Banks in the past.

Every time I go to Macy's or Sak's outlet I have a hard time finding a slimmer fit suit. They're all made for you fat OT 6's.

Their suits are over priced and look like they came from Men's Warehouse.

Dillards, Macy's, or (gasp) Jos. A. Bank will give you better suits for the money.

Dillards is great as well. I wear Tommy and Ralph Lauren suits. I usually get them when they are unloading them at 65% off. I do have a couple of Brooks Brothers as well. Key is finding a damn good tailor to fit the suit to you…never have it done at he store.

yeah, I only like their signature gold suits (regular price is like $1295, which is cray cray). They are really nice though. Buy them online when they hit the clearance page for $200, get altered at a tailor downtown who knows what they're doing. (Actually, do this almost regardless of where you buy it).

I researched suits in the OT hickey freeman was highly recommended. I bought off the rack and had it tailored. Very happy with my purchase.
