You don't come back from a high ankle sprain in two weeks

Eta especially with JC's history of injuries

I expect him out 4-6 weeks, maybe longer, possibly not himself all season similar to Roddy last year

Aside from an ACL, he's played in 78 out of 80 games in the past 6 years

I think it's pretty close. I think Rainey could have possibly earned himself some more touches even if Martin comes back. Davis may be the better short term solution, but Rainey could be better in the long term

Probably so

I'll take Rapsheet's and Schefter's word over it than some bullshite Biltricks shite from the Walrus saying it's a high ankle sprain that is mild.

wtf does that even mean?

That's like saying someone has a mild ACL tear. Doesn't exist

Martin hasn't been the same guy since 2012. I think it's a timeshare at best going forward and Rainey might get the better of it.

He had one bad game

He was on pace for 1,200 rushing yards and 1,400 total yards before his injury

You've done that to me about 6 times regarding Hamster. I get to do it once!

I had him in 2012 and 2013 (as a keeper). He scored 5 points in week 15 playoffs 2012 = loss.

But that's not the reason I'm down on him. I think he's highly overvalued as even a RB2.

he missed most of the preseason due to injury, Knile Davis looks damn good...they won't be rushing JC back

If you're so high on Davis why didn't you draft him in the first round?
