Dealing with people who have annoying voices

This woman I work with, talks faster than an state fair auctioneer and with a high pitched voice that can shatter glass. Not to mention she has this midwestern "fargo" esque accent that I find unbearable. She loves to physically corner people and go on these meandering and long-winded one-sided conversation about God knows what. Anyone else feel my pain or have a certain accent that drives you nuts?
P.S. Trust me you don't want pics

I'm glad my wife has a place to vent. TIA.

used to fly with an F-16 guy who had tourettes, almost killed myself several times due to uncontrollable laughter

Naw, she's a squat 5 foot nothing brunette. The term "mouse-y" seems appropriate

My wife...... She gets on a subject and won't let it go. I usually curl up in a fetal position, even in the car if I'm not driving, and shut my eyes...

High pitched voices or grown ups that talk in baby voices all the time. Or both.

The military lets people with tics fly multi-million dollar planes?

I have a buddy whose wife is like that...but it's only when she drinks (which is a lot). When she's sober her voice is perfectly normal. But when she drinks her voice pitch starts rising getting more and more nasal as she goes.
It's a shame, too, because she's pretty damn hot for her age. The voice thing just ruins the fact that she has a magnificent rack.
(Sorry, I don't have any pics)

I assume at some point he wasn't, and they cleared him though.
I always wanted to be a pilot growing up. I'm curious, how is the "badassness" of fighter pilots assessed since there hasn't been air-to-air combat in quite a while?

there's plenty of air to air combat going on, just not much live shooting, that dude got in his licks at Desert Storm though
