I have one already but want to get it redone.. I want it to be done right and sounds like the way it is put together " SEO wise" is important. I currently pay an Seo company to keep me on the 1st page of google. Can I get around paying every month if I get my site redone the right way from the begging? If so what company's? Thanks

Alchemist Branding did ours and also our monthly marketing. Google him--Randall Huffaker.

Pixelbrush in Lafayette does an awesome job. Best web design company around and affordable in my opinion. Web Design

You don't necessarily need to pay monthly but it depends on what they're doing (I doubt they're doing much). I've seen several companies charge for SEO and never do anything.

I don't know the company, but generally when a web design company lists pricing right on the site, you're probably going to get a cookie-cutter site.

Would a contractor tell you how much your house is going to cost before you tell them what you want?

It's going to cost you one way or another to keep ranking high. Google changes their algorithms constantly, but the things that matter most are the quality of your content, the "freshness" of your content (in some cases), and the cumulative rankings and quality of the sites that link to yours.

Are you sure this "SEO company" is doing actual SEO work, or are they just running an AdWords campaign for you?

I did, it's all WordPress templates. They even seem to be good quality. I just meant with set pricing you probably won't get exactly what you want, if you happen to know exactly what you want.

WordPress is honestly and truly great software, though, and it is extremely customizable. And this company seems to do good work and makes a lot of clients happy. What it really boils down to is what kind of service you get, so in that regard they may be wonderful. Like I said, I don't know the company, and I didn't mean any disrespect as I know how much work and skill it takes to put together even a half-decent WordPress theme.

But I still think a potential client should be hesitant about a company giving a price before they even know what they're getting into.

And the carousel on their pricing/services page has images of varying heights, and it's forcing everything below it to shift up and down while you're trying to read.
