Did she not get the memo?

Well Romney won Ky 60-37 so this really isn't news.
It's like Romney ran away from the GOP when he ran for governor of Mass.

IWHI but I won't be voting for her.

She may well be telling the truth on voting against Obama on those issues, a ton of blue dog Democrats got bounced out after voting for policies that were seen as overly liberal. If I was running as a Democrat in the South or rural Midwest I'd distance myself as much as possible from Obama at the moment.
Of course, since I'm a registered member of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party that is all a moot point.

shooting a gun, fricking classic, she could be incubating limbaugh's love child for all I care, why would anyone believe a democrat about anything ever again?

No he didn't. Not at all. The GOP in Massachusetts is not the same as the GOP in a red state. He definitely was the overwhelming favorite of Massachusetts Republicans in 2002, and no one was even close.

So what does she agree with him on? That's where she'll get hammered.

Replace coal with oil, and that sounds like something Mary Landrieu would say.

Or perhaps he ran away from who he really is when he ran for the GOP Presidential nomination.

FYI, the red state Democrats, including Harry Reid, broke rank with the Democratic party on guns.

I want my money back.
Last October, I gave $2,500 to support Heidi Heitkamp’s campaign to become North Dakota’s junior senator. A few weeks later, she won a surprise victory.
I have had a long career in government and politics, but I don’t donate heavily to political campaigns. When I contribute, it’s because I know the candidate well or am really impressed with the person. Heidi Heitkamp was one of the latter: She struck me as strong-willed, principled and an independent thinker.
But this week, Heitkamp betrayed those hopes.
She voted to block legislation to make gun background checks more comprehensive. Her vote — along with those of 41 Republicans and three other Democrats — was a key reason the measure fell short of the 60 votes needed for passage.
Polling has shown that nine in 10 Americans and eight in 10 gun owners support a law to require every buyer to go through a background check on every gun sale. In North Dakota, the support was even higher: 94 percent. Yet in explaining her vote, Heitkamp had the gall to say that she “heard overwhelmingly from the people of North Dakota” and had to listen to them and vote no. It seems more likely that she heard from the gun lobby and chose to listen to it instead.

I think it's funny how blue-state and big-city Democrats, who never took a tough vote in their lives, expect all the red-state Democrats to be profiles in courage.

Harry Reid did NOT break ranks with the Dems on guns.
I have to think you, and other readers of a forum on politics, know perfectly well why he changed his vote just before the voting closed. Thus your statement is intentionally misleading to those few who don't know.

Why do you think Wayne Lapierre called Reid "a true champion of the Second Amendment"?

Why do you think Wayne Lapierre called Reid "a true champion of the Second Amendment"?
LaPierre said that in August of 2009 when Harry Reid was upside down in polling for reelection in 2010 and took on a very public pro-gun campaign in a state where he needed to turn the tide.
Fast forward to the current reality:
"Despite Harry Reid’s growing support, gun control legislation probably isn’t going anywhere in Congress"
"Wednesday, June 11, 2014 | 2 a.m.
Washington —
In the wake of the Las Vegas police shooting, Nevada Sen. Harry Reid has thrown his full and considerable political weight into more strict gun laws.
“We here in Congress have a duty to put into place legislation that helps prevent deranged individuals from carrying out such savage acts of violence,” the majority leader said Monday on the Senate floor. “Universal backgrounds checks would be a good start.”
The Nevada Democrat has shifted his views from pro-gun rights to pro-gun control. He campaigned in 2010 as a “true champion” of gun rights and until last year resisted his colleagues’ calls for stricter federal gun laws."
