Can anyone justify Cadet's roster spot?

Not only is he not a great kick returner, most kickoffs go out of the endzone.
Depth and competition at cornerback would make better use of the roster spot.

Said this yesterday , i dont see what his use is. Id rather see Joe Morgan or Brandin Cooks returning kickoffs this season.

There's a shite ton of things i can't justify these first two games and Travaris Cadet is way down the fricking list.

I can't justified him playing on offense. Pierre does Everything he does, except much better. Yet, he manages to get snaps.

He is basically the new version Courtney Roby. Special teams guy who provides depth at RB. If Payton insists on rotating 3 guys, we are 1 injury away from Cadet getting action at RB

Except Roby was actually really good on punt coverage.

There's a few roster spots I struggle to justify:
Cadet....LaMichael James or Jeff Demps could probably fill his role better IMO
Meachem...Meachem is the only WR in the NFL that CANNOT catch the ball with his HANDS (which is pretty important for a WR)...If it doesn't hit his body so he can cradle it, then it's a drop!
Toon....Just another practice hero, hasn't had a whole lot of opportunities in the regular season but has blown them when he had them and has also not done much of anything in the preseason games
I know we all want CB help right now so getting rid of someone would free up a roster spot, but IDK who we would get to fill it at CB besides Champ really...IDK who else is out there

When Cadet got that pitch but they whistled it dead, I feel like he coulda got the first down and then some.
With Ingram out were gonna go full committee mode and prolly pass Cadet the ball some.
Lets see if he makes some plays and then judge his arse
