Do we have another exodus to the NFL, or does the recent string of early defections moderate this year? Danielle Hunter looks to be an obvious candidate, but what about others? Vadal Alexander, Hawkins, Mills, Collins, Kwon Alexander? I know its only 3 games into the season, but what do you think are these players 2015 NFL draft prospects?

Please let Hawkins and Alexander stay. Kwon needs to stay and prove he can make a whole season while staying healthy.

They'll all leave. People freaked over Trai Turner leaving last year and he's a starter for a super bowl contender.

i really believe we have a chance of returning a lot of these guys...I think Hunter and Alexander might be the obvious two but i think it also depends on the type of year they have and if someone could tell them they would benefit for another year in college...Mills i think will go i think he had that set in his mind since freshman year...collins im not sure i think he may stick around and i really couldnt tell you about the OLine...i dont know what to really look for for them to leave early

NFL will now give only 1st and 2nd round grades. The rest will be advised to return to school. Based on the new grading system, Mills and possible Vadal are the only underclassmen with a chance at a first or second round grade.

I don't see how Vadal or Hawkins go in the top 3 rounds. I know kiper had Vadal as a top 5 underclassmen OG though.

Hunter will be a combine freak

that will probably be enough for him to go in the top 3 rounds

All of the players you mentioned will leave imo with the possible exception of Collins because he likely wont be a true "starter" once RR is all the way out of the doghouse. But Collins had more hype than Mills after his freshman year. His size will make him a very interesting prospect.

Many have said this before, but this is the new normal. The NFL CBA now means the second contract is key. All juniors are going to start jumping early, not just LSU. We just happened to be ahead of the curve at NFLU

And the one you didn't mention that is a lock to leave is Dural. Prototype size with eye popping speed and numbers make him a 1st rounder next spring imo. Bookmark if you like.

Hawkins is the guy I want back most. Would be huge to move him over to LT while Brumfield, Clapp, and Jevonte learn playing beside him. Hopefully Lael works into a 1st rounder so Jerald may want tofollow his example.

I really hope Debo stays too. Have wanted him as a starter since he balled out in 2012. Would love to see him as an every down player. I think he would wreck shop imo.

I've heard since last season Collins is gone after this year. Expect him to leave after this year.

I think Hawkins come back, but that's just a hunch.

All the others you mentioned are gone baby gone

It may be the new normal but it's foolish. Yes you are a year closer but if you are a late round or udfa then the team is not invested in you and unless you absolutely ball out, you'll never make that second contract. Ask Michael Ford and Spencer Ware and Chris Faulk.

These guys made a full season's worth of NFL salary (roughly $400,000), instead of going to college for 1 more season and sitting on the bench through most of it. They should be able to pay their own way through the final year of school if they choose (and most will). Nothing foolish there.

Chris Faulk
He made the same choice, but I think he could have actually been drafted had he come back. Injuries scare people though, and maybe what he got was better than nothing at all had he been reinjured.

This. Looking forward to 2015, having to replace the entire starting OLine would seriously compromise our chances of making a run at a SEC and National Championship.
