Is it time to promote a good high school coach to try to build something there. No fans, team is terrible, facilities bad..instead of one of these ole washed up guys I say start fresh with a high school guy...

Good luck

They have Manning Passing Academy money (or at least turf) and they're playing two rent-a-win games a year. Are they really that below par with other comparable programs? Or are that poorly managed?

I've wondered once or twice why they couldn't convince some lifetime NFL position coach with local ties and near retirement time to come home for a few years and try to build a foundation.

Bobby April and Terry Robiskie are two that immediately come to mind.

You need young and hungry not old and tired. Bring in the guy who would kill his mother for a d1 head job. yes you will need a new coach every 3-5 years but you will be a winner

Its really sad how bad they suck. I do agree they need a young coach that can recruit the area well.

They need someone that can invigorate the gold mine of business support that is the Houma / thib area right now.

Under 75 miles from 1/2 the players in the state.....

I don't remember them being good - ever.

How much recruiting budget do they need really? Recruit the hell out of La and Miss.
Just need an energetic young coach.
Or an old guy who hires young recruiters.
