Philip Rivers didn't shy away from his side of the field. I don't know the numbers though.

Last I saw he was targets like 4 times with 4 receptions for 50-something yards against. Not "getting worked", but not "shutdown" either.

At one point I remember a stat of like 4 catches for 50+ yds or something like that.

Good to see that he only cares about his team winning or losing and not his individual stats.

Does he stay on a receiver or on a side?

Bc Keenan Allen only had 4 catches for 44 yards

His act is getting tired, there's no getting around the fact that Philip Rivers shredded them today. No shame in admitting it sherm, anyone can have an off day

This.

Sherman is so damn defensive... 1 little bit of criticism and he freaks out and tries to spin it around and comes at the person that said it. Extremely sensitive. And in the NFL and being as loud and outspoken and obnoxious as he has been... You're gonna be under a microscope and everyone will critique your every move. If he wasn't as loud as he was, he probably wouldn't be critiqued as much as he is. IMO, he brings it a lot of it on himself.

But Rivers did say he wasn't afraid to go at Sherman and he would. Sherman vs Allen is a good matchup due to Allen being such a physical WR and a really good route runner.

Haden got handled pretty well by Graham, but Haden was as physical as you can be without getting flagged. The PP7/Randle TD was a thing of beauty. PP7 couldn't do much else.

If you're going to score on either of them, Sherman included, you have to work your arse off to do so.

He gave up less than 50 yards and 3 completions. That is far from being shredded

Ok see... Haden was torched by Graham this week and Antonio Brown last week. PP have up a TD to Randle today. Was a great play by Randle but still was on PP.

Sherman gives up like 4 catches for 55yards... You don't what much about what happened to PP and Haden, but you hear about Sherman giving up some catches. It all comes from the way he is and all that. He painted this huge target on his back due to his antics and the things that he says. PP and Haden don't go about it that way. Still have a target on their backs because they are true shadow CBs and go against the opponents WR1, unlike Sherman. But, the target on their backs are not nearly the same size as Sherman's. And it's mostly because of the antics and talking that he does. And that also puts him under the publics microscope.

If you can say stuff about other players and pretty much disrespect them / say they aren't that good, you better be able to take some criticism when you get beat. Because every single player that has ever played football has been beat / made a mistake. If you can't handle the criticism, then keep your mouth shut.

And Sherman did not speak with the media after the game, which he is supposed to do as an NFL player. If the media requests to speak with you, you're contractually obligated to speak with them. Sherman gives up a few catches and skips town on the media. Will be fined for that as well. But come on man. If you are gonna say shite about other players, you better have a thick skin and be able to take criticism when it comes your way.
