Meanwhile, Florida State can cruise through a pitiful ACC schedule en route to a playoff bid.

Not bad, although A&M & LSU should be reversed. Not fussing though, I like that we are still a bit under the radar.

Based on what? Aggie looks strong, and USC winning yesterday gives them a quality beat down on the road in week 1. They're going to be tough.

That's just it...based on the fact that ZERO of these polls mean a hill of beans this early, so most are going off of perception of the programs based on recent history the past few years and past performance from a program perspective... That is why Bama is number 2 without looking exactly like world beaters, Auburn is ranked where they are based on their magical Disney run last season...A&M is (seems to be so far) pretty decent this season, but don't tell me that LSU should be scared of them, or that if we were reversed in the polls AT THIS POINT in the season anybody could make an argument against it. It's so early....it'll all play out....

Aggie wasn't given that rank, though, like Bama and Auburn. They were behind us and moved up after they beat the hell out of South Carolina. They look like the best team in the sec right now.
No, LSU shouldn't be scared, but I do think they belong ahead of us in the polls right now. I would love to beat them in college station with them ranked in the top 5. And I think they will be.

This usually means we all beat uo each other and no one escapes with less than 2 losses. So 5 of the best teams in US fail to,make playoff.
