Great catch by Randle. Helluva matchup between two LSU greats!

Impressive play by Reuben. Heck of a throw from Eli. No way to defend that.

Wouldn't really consider randle an LSU great. He was a good player who could have been great had he worked with a consistent QB. Coming back for a senior year with Mett would have given him that chance but you can't blame him too much.

I mean, he was the best receiver on what may have been our greatest team ever...

Not to mention with one of the worst QBs we have seen. The guy just was constantly open and making big plays. I consider him a great.

From what I've been told he wasn't a great teammate and other players questioned his loyalties.

But I've also heard he is a great teammate from other people. So take the first statement with a grain of salt.

Maybe he just preferred the throwing QB over the running QB?

Being that he always had NFL talent as a wide receiver, who could blame him? Do you think he appreciated all of the blocking assignments he was getting in the championship game?

OK, then let's change it to:

Regardless of who the QB was, he would have strongly preferred more passing calls.

better?

Anyone that thinks Jordan Jefferson is one of the worst lsu qbs ever , doesnt know football. While he was great, he was decent . the 2009 season JJ had a higher passer rating than Flynn in 07 but people act like he was always this horrible qb.
