If Dan Marino played in today's NFL

Would he be regarded as the GOAT? I don't remember Marino playing, but looking at the stats, his numbers are incredible. Considering the rules he played with, the shorter seasons also. Seems like he would've had some incredible seasons in today's game, no?

This reminds me of one of my favorite Ted Williams stories. He was being interviewed by a writer at Red Sox Spring Training, and the writer asked him how did he think he would do against today's pitching, and this was in the '90's?
Williams replied probably about .270.
The writer said you really think today's pitching is that much better?
And Williams said Hell no, but I'm 72 years old.

The year Marino threw for 4800 yards, he was 400 yards ahead of the second-place guy. His 48 TDs were 16 ahead of #2, 20 ahead of #3.

Imagine if he could play today and have somebody like Calvin Johnson to throw to. He was almost 400 yards ahead of the second place guy in his record year too.

Marino lost to the greatest QB of all-time in his one and only Super Bowl appearance. Miami and San Francisco were the two best teams in the NFL in 1984. Miami went 14-2 and San Francisco went 15-1. Montana was great, but he benefited greatly by having an all-time great WR for most of his career. Marino never had a great receiver much less a top 5 all time.
