I love how we're getting the FBs(tailbacks) involved in the running game

Not a whole lot of great things to take away from the offensive performance( wtf OL?), but I really like using Hilliard and Williams as weapons from the FB position. They are big and strong runners who will eventually bust a 3rd and 1 non-goal line carry into a long touchdown.r
Will probably get involved in the passing game from the position as well. Not revolutionary or anything, but a nice new bullet to add to the holster.
Also, did Jennings ever run the triple option in high school? That would be another nice bullet that could pick up a crucial 1st down every once in a while.

i mean it's going backwards in terms of football's offensive development, so yeah, it's not quite "revolutionary"
i-form as a base offense is all but dead in football. it's outdated and puts you playing 10-on-11

To add to this, I think it's pretty smart offensively to get the RB's running out of formations together. Cam seems to be engineering a running game where he wants the defense to have to guess who is getting the ball.

I think this has been a brilliant early season adjustment by Cam. You can tell defenses have been loading the box & keying on Fournette. The dive to the FB is catching teams off guard which is going to prevent defenses from just keying on Fournette in I formation packages. I'm also waiting to see what kind of play action Cam has up his sleeve passing wise.

to be fair i think with hilliard/williams at fb it makes it 11-on-11 again.
would much rather us run single back/ace formation than using fullbacks.

I wish they would stick to one RB getting the majority of the carries when we get into SEC play. Guys can't get into a groove when you have 4 running in and out without any rhyme or reason.
One thing though, they are setting that formation up for a toss to Fournette in SEC play.
