I feel like this card sucks. Even the main event, I don't give Maidana much of a chance. But I can't not buy a Mayweather fight. I can't miss an opportunity to witness greatness. Mayweather's earned it.

It does....Angulo and Santa Cruz are fighting nobodies and there isn't a single boxing fan that wants to see Vazquez-Bey.

I wanna see how Maidana looks without Alex Ariza and his "special shakes".

Angulo is a heavy bag in that ring.

Was their first fight was as close as the commercials make it seem? I only saw the last three rounds and had money 10-9 on those rounds

It was competitive but Floyd won the fight. Maidana didn't win a single round in the last half of the fight.

Is this where Mayweather fights another bum on PPV. And his paycheck for it is like 50 mil?

I just bought it. $75. Whatever. Maybe Mayweather will lose and make it worth it.

I wouldn't call Maidana a bum...he's a good fighter. No one is on Floyd's level though skill-wise.

So pretty much and correct me if I'm wrong...Floyd is going to retire without actually fighting anyone of merit?

Not true at all

Sure, he's dodged some fighters and/or fought some guys way later than he should have....but before he became the face of boxing he fought pretty much everyone. Once he became Money Mayweather he began to treat his career like a business and make as much money as possible without taking big risks. Al Haymon has played a large role in this as well and we're seeing it with other Haymon fighters now. One of them is about to fight on the PPV card (Leo Santa Cruz).

But we can't forget how great he was at 130, 135 many years ago.

I'll provide updates round by round if need be for Mayweather.

Bey won the last fight. Split decision. 115-113 two cards. Last one was 119-109. Weird card from ringside card. Vazquez had more connections at 89-81.
