Within the rules, but that last-second sh#t is so lame, coaches that get burned by it deserve every excrutiating post-game question about it.
I remember a divi playoff when Cowher did it in TN. The fireworks went off and they had to redo everything.

It has been proven that icing the kicker actually lowers your chances of winning. Which also proves most football coaches aren't really that smart and just like to follow the status quo without actually knowing what is better

People act like if a kicker misses a field goal after a timeout, it's ABSOLUTELY because of the timeout. You cannot scientifically prove that the timeout caused the miss. It's likely just coincidence.

I would actually have a lineman fake a time out (stand up instead of rushing for no reason, as if to call a TO).
