Mrs Dong and Little Dong 1 built our first kick fire of the year while soaking in the Fall weather. May have to forego watching the game on TV and opt for radio while watching our cave man TV.

We were going to do one last night, but rain and a crap load of mud everywhere put a damper on everything.

I'm to old to camp in a tent. What was I thinking.

I pulled out my little chimenea today, burned some old lighter wood and misc sticks in the yard. Felt good, but I still stood inside and watched.

I use the term in honor of EJW. He mentioned on more than one occasion that one of his favorite pastimes was to stand around a kick fire at the camp with his friend's drinking and swapping stories. Best I can tell, it was just a term he used to reference a campfire.

Maybe 4LSU2 or KR could expound.
