Speaking of Rudy I just read some true facts on it:
Rudy's dream was to attend Notre Dame not to play football there.
Players did not lay jerseys on the coaches desk for Rudy to play. In fact it was Coach Devines idea for Rudy to play. Coach Devine pushed for it.
The fans did not chant Rudy's name during the game.
Rudy's sack was really a 0.5 sack because another Notre Dame player made the tackle too.
And Joe Montana said that when they carried Rudy off the field it was a goof and a joke. Nobody was serious about it.
