The Byrnes QB is shitting the bed
DLS uses the rolling start cadence and it is kicking Byrnes arse in the run game
I often wonder why more HSs don't use the rolling start

De La Salle is the craziest football school in the country.

OL jogs up to the line
They put their hand down in unison and snap the ball
Like they are "rolling" at the DL
You are supposed to be "set" for a second before you can snap the ball
It becomes a game between the center and the officials to see how close they are going to call it
If they let them get away with little or no pause then it is like the OL has a moving head start coming at the DL. That is an enormous advantage for the OL
Acadiana and John Curtis are great at the rolling start, especially while using it with the veer

I bet Byrnes never sees the veer any more. Everybody runs spread. They look like they don't have a clue how to stop it
If I was a HS coach all I would run is split back veer. Good enough for Curtis, de la salle and Acadiana it is good enough for me
