Scam Phone Calls

So, I keep getting a phone call from a Brooklyn NY number claiming to be Microsoft and wanting to access my computer to get rid of a virus. Once I tell them I have a Mac, their story changes. It's a middle eastern accent. I've blocked the number. However, they keep changing their number but name on caller ID is always the same.
The number has a LONG list of complaints, but is there anything else I can do?
LINK
ETA: this number calls me 3-4 times a day

Air horn, a constant death scream, or turn up porn really loud and leave it on next to phone.

I get the same thing..I let them run on for a little while and then tell them that I don't have a computer...
I don't think there is much that you can do from a practical standpoint...

Pick up the phone.
Hang up the phone.
Repeat.
It worked for me last time they bugged me.

WTF? Seriously, it's harassment. 3-4 times a day is out of control. I thought about calling the Brooklyn police department, but I am not sure how much they can do

I'm not blaming you, but once you answer and they know they have a live one, they won't stop. It sucks.

when I use to get calls like that I would just give the phone to my three year old

I agree with that...it is honestly kind of stupid to keep calling someone that you know you aren't gonna get to play along...
I do think that LA has some kind of "do not call" list that you can register with...if they still call, you may be able to pass it off to the enforcement agency for that...

Recruit them to ISIS with you. Tell them you are general.

Wonder what it is that has you pegged as a sucker to them.

Not sure, but the multiple times of me telling them to f off hasn't done anything

I think the best thing would be to eat corn chips loudly and just listen to the guy talk like Brad Pitt in Fight Club.

The problem with all of those ideas is that they wake my 16 month old up whenever they call me.

Police departments put their top detectives in their scam phone call department

First mistake was answering the phone. If I don't recognize the number I don't answer. If its important they can leave a message.

Happens to my 80+ year old parents all day every day. The people have lists they call from. Usually older people that they hope aren't as mentally sharp as most.
You can't convince people their age they don't have to answer the phone every time it rings. It's like they think that it's being dishonest.

I got that call from MSN a few weeks ago. I told the guy I hacked in to Kaspersky's servers and I'm not allowed around computers. He hung up.
