Is there a way to set ringtone based on who (email addr) the text message is from rather than the phone number its from? I have a text message sent out from an exchange system. I have the email address set in contacts. But seems the tones only want to sound if the number matches a phone number in contacts which is a random number from the exchange system.

I don't think that is possible... The only "sender" information is the phone number which is not associated with any contact in your contacts list. The email address is just part of the text of the message, not the sender. I think...
