I am impressed. Runs very smooth only non realistic thing is I beat City with Liverpool to win the league.

Graphics finally look next gen and runs very fluid.

Much better than 14 IMO. Seems like every 2 years the game moves forward a good bit.

frick FIFA

they probably have shite online play and ridiculous improvements. 14 ended my allegiance to the series, and i've bought every one since like 06 or 07

pshhh I miss the FIFA days when you could slide tackle the GK and get red cards until the match was stopped. Not sure what year the finally took that out. Maybe 04, how far we have come.

I played a few games of it and it just feels a lot better. Things just feel more fluid. GK can be a little OP at times now though.

eta: The commercial is pretty cool

Well Tim Howard was the model for the new goalie so we always knew it would be OP.

Also did any of y'all download it for 360? It didn't seem to be available but I know it was for Xbox One.

I feel like FIFA has done some unspeakable things to you in the past with the vitriol you spew about it.

I've been pretty happy with the demo. I really like pretty much everything about it.

You'll be missing out, I think. Last year was a transition year for every EA Sports title. They all sucked. This year, I think they'll have a return to form. The demo alone has given me faith in humanity again.

I always buy FIFA because it keeps its resale value for well into the year. I bought it at release for 50 bucks and was able to sell it on EBAY for 49 during the World Cup. I usually just buy the new one for the updated rosters, the gameplay has been damn good since FIFA 10, haven't noticed many improvements.

I may be the only one who really feels a major change, but they weren't joking when they said that the 1 on 1 battles would be much better and useful. I like to control the flow of the game, and this year, slowing down play and really taking a defender on feels amazing. For example, I gave a ball a light knock forward to my left from a standstill and then used a roulette back to my right, and the defender actually had animations for being shaken out of his boots. Hold up play is a real thing this year, and I love it. Keepers are noticeably better, especially against crosses in the box. They attack the ball instead of watching them sail a foot in front of them to an opposing player. I was so thankful to see the end of that when I learned that the Y button wasn't just to ensure that you get scored on. Hold it to attack close crosses in the box. Hold it to run out, and double tap to make him get back between the sticks. It's amazing how much pulling the keeper out a bit only to make them go back will force a terrible attempt at a chip shot.

I really feel like this may be the year where there isn't a single OP play style. It seems like the improvements to defending and AI have made it harder for people to just abuse their poor left bumper and Y button. Then again, I may hate it after being beaten by some kid in Argentina with Boca Juniors 50 times. I think it's on a good track though. Everyone I've talked to loves it.

My first FIFA and the reason I began to love the sport was FIFA 64. My favorites were in the 2007-2010 span. I just had so much fun playing those. I don't even remember if they were even that good, but United was so damned good on them. FIFA 99 was pretty revolutionary. I played the shite out of it on PS1. A lot of people like to claim that FIFA 13 was the best one ever made, but I hated it. It was a flat out pace fest. I like that they've slowed it down and made strength an actual factor in the game. 14's shooting was amazing, though. I find myself struggling to get off a really solid shot outside of the box. I guess that's a good thing, but I'm just not used to missing some of those shots. They amped up the "Do not sprint and shoot" feature big time.

My favorite fifas are '96, '98, '03, '05, '10, '11, and '13.

I'm pretty sure I have had all of them since '96 so that is actually a serious list and not just bullshite. '07 is probably honorable mention with '02.
