I'm building a shed and running power and internet from my house underground (about 15'). Does it matter how close Ethernet and power are together in the trench (will be in separate conduit)? Or is there a distance I should keep them apart?

Use shielded cabling and it won't matter.

You should be ok if in separate conduits. Can be side by side if that's the case.

In my experience, that depends on the electrical cable. If it's modern NM, armored, conduit, no problem. If you've got some old cloth wiring you're gonna have a bad time. Shielded cable does much better than unshielded but it's got limits.

To answer the OPs question I've run regular CAT5e down the same drilled hole as NM, and I had some problems.

With just a few inches of separation the problems went away.

shouldnt be a problem unless you are using alot of juice in the shed.

Sorry, misread the first time. If it's in separate conduit you're fine.
