Ted Kord has been mentioned a few times already in Arrow. The writers wanted to use him this season, but DC nixed it because apparently they have other plans for the character. So instead of using Kord, they decided to use Ray Palmer.

Also with AmerTek and Stagg Inductries, that leaves the door open for John Henry Irons (AKA Steel) and Rex Mason (AKA Metamorpho).

I'd think that something like that would be a one time deal. It made for an amazing scene with Pietro, but you wouldn't want tons of that.

It's like Alan Moore talking about Flash living in a world of statues. It's an interesting take on the character and great insight from Flash's perspective. But I wouldn't want a weekly view of the world through Barry's eyes.
