Know how I know you don't pay attention to the Dolphins?

Regarding Tannehill, he needs to improve on the accuracy on passes over 15 yards and the deep ball placement. He does that, then you're looking at a top 10-12ish QB. He's only entering his third season. This year will be the litmus test.

so what you are saying, is you are crowning him right at this very moment?

Where in my post would you gather that? He has massive room for improvement with accuracy.

But the arm talent is definitely there. I'd say he's currently around the middle of the pack as a starting NFL QB.

Looked sharp on short and medium passes, still can't throw the deep ball.

Meh. He played like pure dog shite in the 1st half of that Pats game.
Did you watch the game?

"Pure dog shite" is a bit much. Threw a bad pick and missed on some deep balls but played good otherwise.

Speaking at Monday's presser, Dolphins coach Joe Philbin was evasive when asked if he's considered benching Ryan Tannehill.
Philbin left the door ajar for Matt Moore to start against the Raiders in Week 4. "We're going to choose the 46 guys we think can help us win a football game, and we'll go from there," Philbin said. We'd be surprised if the Dolphins decided to pull the plug on their supposed franchise quarterback this quickly, but there's no question he's been one of the league's worst signal callers through the season's first three weeks. Tannehill utterly failed to take advantage of a plus matchup on Sunday, and is sporting a 5.03 YPA through 124 attempts. The heat is going to keep building if he doesn't show meaningful progress this week. Tannehill is officially at risk of an in-game benching.

I would say his ceiling is Joe Flacco and that is not really a bad thing if Miami can put a team around him for a run.

Yeah the box score is terrible.

R. Tannehill: 21/43 205 yards 4.8 ypa 1 TD 0 INT

That's real bad.

The only thing he is better than RG3 at is not getting hurt

Rookie stats

RG3 3,200 yrds 20 TD's 3 INT's
Tannehill 3,294 yrds 12 TD 13 INT's

Last year
RG3 3,203 yds 16 TD's 12 INT's in 13 games
Tannehill 3,913 yrds 24 TD's 17 INT's

RG3 also has 7 rushing TD's
Tannehill has 3

Let's be honest though, you would take just about anyone of RG3.

He's certainly not a bust but I don't think he has proven that he is a #8 overall pick.

Tannehill can barely throw it in the ocean from more than 15 yards out. The other problem is Mike Wallace isn't really that great at catching.

My friends who are Phins fans can't stand him. Hes got talent but turns it over way to much.

Mike Wallace has looked good this season, although I haven't watched the Chiefs game yet.

Tannehill just cannot throw the deep ball, greatly reducing the Dolphins greatest weapon.
