Global warming bringing them south due to.....wait huh...

There is a monster eagles nest in the cypress trees south of I10 just west of kennabrah. Has been there for several years.

Not this eagles nest though...

I saw my first Bald Eagle in Baton Rouge. It was freaking awesome. That was a few years ago.

My family actually owns that lake and we spot bald eagles there quite often. Not quite sure if it is the same one all the time or not.

Two bald eagles used to roost on the high voltage lines that crossed Bayou Des Allemands about 3 miles north of the bridge, but it's been probably since Katrina since I've seen them.

This time of year I see most of the eagles that I have seen on the Northshore. Down in Morgan city I see them a lot more.

Walmart bag. Hahahha

Bald Eaglea are odd. Sometimes they nest in the same location for a few years straight, then all of a sudden they are gone. I have a cell tower on St. Simons Island here in Georgia. We had an eagle on the tower every year during nesting season for 4 years straight. We are on year number 5 now. Come next summet we can actually work on the site when DNR removes the Eagle status on the site. If it does not come back this March.
