People think their question is "special" and want other uninformed sheep to answer their question

thats why if possible, people should stick to the expert opinions. None of us have as much credible information as the guys who do this for a living IMO

This.a thousand different WTS threads clogging the board is a much better solution

lol

Why not just kill all activity on the board and make a trade evaluation thread, injury report thread, and who to start thread. That'll clear the board up for you.

But people keep responding so the threads will keep coming.

I like them. Sometimes there is some good discussion.

I don't even understand asking the board for their thoughts as much as others do. Check a bevy of fantasy sites for opinions and forecasts on tough calls, stay up to date with information on your players (rotoworld tweets is a good start), and anyways most of the time...ASYS.

Nobody has the magic touch, a consensus here is probably the same consensus you'll find with other site's weekly rankings.

I think it's more people being lazy and wanting someone acknowledging their team more than anything else.

75% of them are terrible, but there are some good ones. If only there was a way to weed them out. Because this board needs some traffic to stay viable.

I was thinking of starting a 12 team, 1 PPR thread for general discussion. Would weed out the dumb 6, 8, 10 team BS

the worst are when the person comes back bitching because the guy people told them to bench went off.

Gyno's idea wasn't bad either. Sometimes the sites seem to be pretty lazy with their rankings. One thread like that could at least discuss matchups, etc.

And its just like the Rate My Team thread, people post questions...but not answers.

A consolidated thread is never a bad idea. I'm not convinced people still wouldn't start their own threads though. They want personal attention and don't have the patience to scroll through a thread to see if they get answered.

The best threads on this board are player specific for me. Trade proposals aren't bad threads either though some I can't believe even need to be asked.

I just don't think any of this is rocket science. My questions for Week 2...What TE should I pick up in case Cameron doesn't play?, Wright over Allen who's playing SEA?, Should I plug Forsett in over a banged up Gerhart?

I'm going to do my research, think about the matchups and look at about 3 different projection sites. Point is, why not go with your decision over some of these people who may be terrible at fantasy?

People like shifting the blame to someone else.

Clogging the board

If you took those threads away, the board would consist of a handful amount of threads a day.

The problem with just using the rankings is you can't talk to the person about why they ranked them where they did. Nothing wrong with having discussion of the pros and cons of starting one guy over the other.

And the stickied thread is useless. You ask a question and no one answers it.
