I am looking for a new camping tent for this fall.

Haven't bought one in years. Would like something that would last. Any advice is much appreciated.

thats my issue.
I have two hammocks with the rainflys that pack away nice for backpacking. looking more into the big 3 room tents for when I go to offroad parks for the weekend.

Set them up once and spend 2-3 days in it. So easy take down and set up isn't a huge deal to me

How many people do you want the tent to sleep?

3 season or 4 season tent?

Do you want a free standing tent?

Is weight of the tent a factor?

I just bought the Kelty Acadia 4-man. Very pleased with it so far. Compact and light for a 4 man. How big are you looking for?

What weather temp-wise and rain-wise do you want to camp in? You gonna backpack with it? Does weight matter for you at all? How many people to sleep in it... annnnnnnnnd what's your price range?

no backpacking
no price range.

not trying to spend a ton but willing to spend up to $350 to get something really nice.

We bought a Coleman Weathermaster and love it. Weathermaster Elite It may be a bit big for what you are looking for but we love the space. Easy set up and enough room to not be tripping over eachother. Costco has the 10 person Weathermaster II that is a 10 person version. Its huge though but nice.
