I'm aware that Virginia Tech is notorious for a letdown, but something feels a little different about them this season. They've got a tough defense and I'm liking Michael Brewer's consistency. He seems like a game managing quarterback. If they can run the table and get to the ACC Championship, I'd like their chances against Florida State.

Virginia Tech - 34 William & Mary - 9
Virginia Tech - 35 Ohio State - 21

Virginia Tech vs. Eastern Carolina
Virginia Tech vs. Western Michigan
Virginia Tech @ North Carolina
Virginia Tech @ Pittsburgh
Virginia Tech vs. Miami
Virginia Tech vs. Boston College
Virginia Tech @ Duke
Virginia Tech @ Wake Forest
Virginia Tech vs. Virginia
ACC Championship (presumably Florida State).

With a schedule that weak, there's no reason not to.

You misspelled Georgia Tech.

But not really.

Probably not.

They are scary talented on defense, and that's a favorable schedule. However, I'm not sold on their quarterback play and their offense as a whole. If they can get through back-to-back road games against UNC and Pitt, then we'll talk.

Doesn't VT always drop a couple of games towards the end of the season that they are supposed to win?

They'll lose at Pitt, and maybe at Duke. But with the way the Coastal has always been, 6-2 would probably send them to the ACC championship game.

They will have to go unbeaten to get in top 4 but it is doable and beating FSU in title game would cement it.
