Is the XBOne worth buying without Kinect?

Or should I just buy the whole thing for the $500?
I've seen some sketchy reviews of the kinect software. With Destiny and Fifa about to come out I'm going to take the plunge and purchase. Advice?

I think the Kinect is worth it just for the voice controls but you can do just fine without it to.

i think it can be bought externally after the fact. However i may just buy it with the package because why not

I would only get the connect if you think you will use it for voice controls with your TV

I traded my Kinect in because I never used it. Plus, I felt stupid talking to my tv. I just want to play games.

I bought it with the connect. With the bundle I got, it was only $50 more for a Kinect. Figured why not. I like it, but I could live without it.

I love having it.
I use it 95% of the time to tell my tv to volume up or down haha.

If you just want to play the games then the kinect isn't necessary.
I bought it without the Kinect because I don't have it hooked up to the TV with the cable box and don't miss it.
Figured I could but it on down the road if I end up hooking the Xbone up with the cable box.

The kinect is a piece of crap imo

I enjoy some of the convenience it provides, but it is mostly useless.
Even more so now that it is an optional piece of hardware. Developers will not waste their time exploring new applications for it.

I think I go along the lines of this attitude. I'll save the extra $100 and buy another controller and games.

I don't even use it anymore. Only got it b.c it was part of the titan fall bundle. Both got old quick.
Its just easier to hit the input,volume, channel and power button. Than scream XBOX doe this.

Not worth it without the kinnect. Stick with the 360 till you can afford the ONE with tKinnect

yea i did
id rather just not talk to the damn thing when it comes down to it when i end up repeating myself. Got old fast that and I can't even use the cable tv integration b/c it degrades my picture quality.

I can afford either one. It's just about spending $100 more on games or a second controller rather than buying a piece of equipment that adds little to no value to the system.

Buy the Kinect
I moved my Xbox into my room to play destiny on my monitor and didn't bring the Kinect. I can't say how many times I tried to use voice commands to do stuff.
