Stills was limited which is a good sign

quote:

WR Kenny Stills (Quad) - Limited

S Marcus Ball (Hamstring) - Did Not Participate

FB Erik Lorig (Ankle) - Did Not Participate

DB Keenan Lewis (Knee) - Limited

LB Curtis Lofton (Shoulder) - Limited

cleveland also released theirs:

quote:

Tight end Jordan Cameron (shoulder), defensive lineman John Huges (hamstring) and linebacker Barkevious Mingo (shoulder) did not practice.
Tackle Joe Thomas did not practice but the Browns report said it wasn't injury related. Defensive lineman Desmond Bryant (wrist) and offensive lineman Paul McCquistan (ankle) were limited.

Running back Ben Tate was listed as out with a knee injury.

Stills was listed as Limited on the Wednesday Report last week as well.

then he was DNP on Thursday... so tomorrow will be very interesting

if he's even limited tomorrow... it should look better for him playing

let him rest longer. Our offense wasn't the problem last week.

guess my point is our report looks pretty good health wise while the browns seem to have some issues.

We need Lofton, but I'm sure with "a shoulder" he can still tackle better than most. He proved that last week.

Read earlier that Lorig and Ball did conditioning work. Hopefully that means they're only a couple of weeks away.

I'll be happy with sitting Stills out until post-bye week.

The way we were on offense, it was balanced enough that we can do fine with the options we have. Cooks looks legit, Colston outside of the fumble was still playing like a #1, and JG is getting a bit more space to work with. Add in PT/Watson and the occasional deep shot to morgan/meachem and the balanced run game that is producing and we're fine.

Next 4 games:
@ Cleveland - Pittsburgh put up 30 points against them
vs. Minnesota - I'll tell you more after this week, Rams were overall horrible
@ Dallas - No comment needed
vs. Tampa Bay - A cam newton-less Carolina team came to their turf and scored 20 points. Derek Anderson went 6.8y/a and 70.6% completion with 2 TDs.

Think about it this way, our first game/road game of the season and we scored 34 points. Last year's highest road score was 27 points and 26 points to NE and Chicago/Philly

I agree with what you posted, and will so far as to say Cleveland gets us in a bad mood and it won't be pretty for them.

However, playing Devil's advocate, what if our non-existent DL and miss-tackling 30-yards-back prevent defense shows up again? What if we really got our projections wrong?

I mean, if you would've told me the Falcons would not have Sam Baker or Jake Matthews in for significant snaps, I would've predicted Matt Ryan being carted off the field in a 42-7 blowout.

I'm just saying from the perspective of the offense, we would have scored a minimum of 37 points and a high of 41 points if not for the INT in the redzone (highly uncharacteristic of Brees).

Adding Stills may have added a FG/TD (I think he's a better WR than Morgan/Meachem at this point, if he's healthy), but the problem still rests in our defense playing the 2012-scheme where we forced square pegs into round holes.

The question is, will a hampered Stills be more productive than Morgan/Meachem as a deep threat? We assume Stills plays, stills stays. He can easily re-injure himself if we rush him.

They won't. Jesus...why is it so hard for you tards to understand WHY Ryan had the DB's playing so deep? Is this your first year to start watching the game?
