...What would you want it to be about?

The first one was so timely. It hit it perfect in the late-90's, the battle of language and violence and film, all wrapped up in parenting. Good stuff.

What would be the topic now?

And yeah, I wish they would do another, now that Book of Mormon runs itself, it's time for them to do another big project.

I'm not sure I would care what it would be about to be honest. I love most things Matt and Trey have done, and the SP:BL&U movie was so overly awesome and entertaining, I'd watch a second one no matter what the topic/plot was.

FWIW, I expect them to do another one at some point, most likely when they stop producing new seasons of shows as sort of a send-off for the series. And I bet it's golden.

Their last big project was the video game. I'm sure they've got something else planned.

for all intents and purposes imaginationland was a movie, that's how they viewed it.

I'd definitely want it to be a musical just like the first one, but it could be about anything

so long as it is absurd, it would be hilarious.

I don't know if they can ever recreate the shock from BL&U...I had no idea they'd curse like that, I was on the floor laughing

ISIS.

Perhaps Cartman could lead a "Children's Crusade" against the infidels!

I think a full on - space epic might work - Marklars, Marvin, etc.

Just my 2 cents.

(Either that, or a feature length fantasy or comic book, would be the way to go.)

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I probably watched 2 or 3 episodes of SP before I saw the film and didn't get it. My friend made me watch the film, and that prompted me to go back and catch up. I - generally - watched the entire series between each season until about 12 or 13 - and now I just go back and watch my 2 dozen or so favorites.

Agreed.

True. And it would be hard to top the music in the first one...it was so hilarious and perfect. But if anybody could do it, it'd be M&T. They are very underrated musicians (especially in terms of creativity).

Well - Coon and Friends(tm). That was rife with potential.

I think they should tackle political correctness and its effects on society, private business, education, politics, ect. They should take a look at how being offended gives victim groups license to form a lynch mob and destroy any career or life at will.

This will be a Cartman-centric movie.

I'm not sure they will make another movie. Black Friday/Imaginiationland/The Coon were basically all movies.

If they were to do a movie I would think they would go back to their roots and it wouldn't be about anything specific. Rather just another mock of society with a few current events thrown in.

Oh yeah, the movie should be a musical.

I never really viewed Imaginationland as a film, it wasn't as bold as the film was.

I'd like to see a right wing vs. left wing film.

Maybe have it lead into a civil war. Of course we know where Cartman would stand.

Of course saddam would have to have a role too.

What I thought they'd do with a second movie is to make it the grand finale, where Cartman finds out he's Kyle's mom's son, and then Cartman would go completely insane and lead some sort of coalition to take the country by storm, and the boys (save Butters whose been bullied onto Cartman's side) have to stop him. But I think 200 ruined that concept, so I'm not sure what they could do.

I like this idea. So much material to work with for parody. And a large screen helps.
