Tips for fishing lake pontchartrain

Anyone have reports for the lake or any current tips? Going to try to get out on the lake this weekend.

specks, reds, and jacks are being caught near us right now... lots of bait fish are moving thru recently

Yeah brah, go find Capt. Dudley V. fishing near the south end of the hwy 11 bridge or trestles. This time of year, rig up a sliding cork and be amazed at how he's catching fish cast after cast, and you're sitting there catching nothing but a buzz.
