People can't stop watching the NFL. No matter what.

Zamoro10 posted this and I started thinking about it.

I turned games off this past weekend for the first time ever.

The new rules, or rather the random enforcement of them, were maddening.

In one game I turned it off after 4 or 5 long commercial breaks and only 4 plays due to timeouts, kickoff, etc. I couldn't stand it anymore.

I think he is probably right, but are others of you as frustrated with the product as I?

my interest is already waning big time

I didn't watch SNF or either MNF games...there's just no interest there...it will be hard to give up the saints, but this year I didn't follow at all after the season, and I didn't really have much intensity until the 4th quarter

they're turning people off,

they've made the game about duis, domestic violence, brain injuries, PEDs, banned substances, redskins racist...add to that the new concussion defensive rules and I'm kind of turned off by the product I see on the field

I'm thinking about trying to pull the plug

I'm pretty sure this has been said of boxing and baseball.

Because this thread is about Zamoro10,

Is it a requirement that we all respond in his style?

I was just wondering because it will take up a lot of space.

But hey, why not?

Hell, I bet the people in the 1400s kicking some sort of inflated bladder around thought the same thing too

NFL has been terrible for almost a decade now. People are just starting to realize it. I can still watch my favorite team, but no longer watch any of the other games and could hardly name any of the other players. Fantasy Football is what's really putting the NFL over the top cause you have a lot of people playing that wouldn't care less otherwise.

Nope. Just stating that he made the statement and I started thinking about my own interest at this point in time.

I don't even know what you are talking about. But it sounds dumb.

I hadn't thought about this part of it. I agree.

Others: thanks for the comments like "you will be missed," etc.

Disagree please, but can't you come up with actual substance?

I'm extremely frustrated at the product.

I'll never stop watching the Saints, but the amount of commercials and pauses and stops and starts is just horrible. And I feel like I'm getting preached to constantly with politically correct messages.

yeah, they've taken away a crucial part of their product with the new h2h,leading, blah blah bullshite and have watered it down after the fact with shite like the above.

Well you are doing it pretty successfully.

No need to get hostile.

Just asking a question.

Keep up the good work.

really since about 08-09 you could see a shite product being put out...tags put this truck in forward motion, and people think goodell is the one making them money

he is fricking it up beyond repair...the goodwill lost between the NFL and fans in just the last 8 years will take so many years to get back, the lies, the frick you attitude with rule changes...it will be another 5 years before these morons notice their going down, and by then, they'll have done a lot of irreparable harm by letting roger dodger run this ship

sad really. I was 10x more into the TU game than the saints game...that should never happen.
