Why does Apple string its fanbase along

iPhone 6 doesn't even have 1080p display when all of its competitors do. Still at 720p
6+ has 1080p but all the phones that size are now coming out with Quad HD displays. So its behind before it even launches.
We all know next year Apple will release the 6S and 6S+ that have 1080p/Quad HD screens respectively and act like its all innovative and groundbreaking, but why not do it now. It's because they know they can get away with it because people will eat up both models.
They are no longer ahead of the curve but behind it on purpose because they know their base won't know any better or care, and that they can release an updated model and still get a lot of sales while at the same time lying about how groundbreaking and innovative it is

I don't see people saying that it is ground breaking. Don't say something is going to happen in the future when the future has yet to exist.
I understand that apple itself sees it but most people see through this BS.

They have been doing this for how long now? An you folks still haven't caught on. They do it on purpose. Why pioneer an idea if you can just take it, fine tune it, and make WAY more money than your "pioneer" competitors?

No, because people don't give a frick about GMA or a mother fricking Quad HD display....
It's not about specs. Never once looked at my screen and thought it looked shitty or needed more HD.

It has been years since iPhones had the highest specs on the market. Most people aren't shopping on one or two specs.
The iphone, as a total package (camera, screen, stability, user friendliness, app ecosystem, etc etc) is the best phone for me. .
I don't particularly care about what other people think are important. I really don't even care about what Apple thinks is important. They emphasize a lot of shite I absolutely don't care about (thinness, this health app suite just to name a couple). But they also emphasize most of what I do care about, more than any other phone maker so far. Once that ceases to be true, I will switch to something else.
But yeah, I guess I'm a sheep/zombie/idiot/girl.

What matters to most people in a phone is the right apps, battery life, camera quality, and durability.

They've never been ahead of the curve. They lead from behind. From the iPod to the iPad, Apple has been able to create markets where everyone else, even really big names, had failed.
Timing is a big key to their success. If they had launched the iPod 2 years earlier it would have likely failed because the iPod's success was tied to Apple convincing the Music Industry it was time for digital music.
I think Apple Pay is going to be the launch of the digital wallet. Similar attempts have been around for several years, but Apple is the one bringing a critical mass of business partners to the table, and part of the reason they are able to do that is because rather than pushing Apple Pay on Blue Tooth 2 years ago, they are pushing Apple Pay on NFC now when there are already quite a few NFC enabled devices in the wild, both phones and POS credit card machines. Leading from behind.
Don't hate on Apple for succeeding where others including Google have failed, be happy that they are advancing technology for the masses, even if the advance didn't come out of their R&D department.

Why do people get so bent out of shape about Apple and it's customers? The customers are clearly happy with the products they are getting from Apple and continue to buy them.
As much as you guys don't want to admit it, they are not bad products and they are pretty well made quality ones as well. Apple has done a lot for the mobile world and hopefully will continue to do so. I mean it's competition for everyone to push and do better. What's not to like about that?
What is the goal of this hate for ya'll? Do you want to see Apple run out of business and everyone to have exactly the same phone as you?

exactly. The irony is the bashing comes from people that have been subjected to the likes of the blue screen of death and Windows Vista and Windows8. But But but Gman. Microsoft gets pass for that case they make pretty decent server software.
