Both he and his wife are Docs. I think she's retired.
He's done a lot of work with the indigent, and is conservative. He's not as conservative as say a Jeff Sessions, but he's pretty strong. He has an excellent chance of beating her.
And I can guarantee you, that if something comes up to which the vast majority of his constituents are against, he will vote their wishes.
Unlike Landrieu who did everything she could to hide from her constituents, and then voted for Obama Care.

Bill Cassidy is a smart guy thats 95% conservative, electable, knows healthcare very well, will represent the energy sector very well and be a voice for the constituents of Louisiana and is very electable and can beat Mary.
I'd rather that over a dumb shite that's 100% conservative, has no clue how to govern effectively and is a true believer.
