Might be blasphemy but Parrain's Seafood is better than Mike Anderson's Seafood

In BR it seems like everyone loves Mikes. And it's good, but Parrain's is better.

:inb4FoodBoard:

I'm not looking for recipes, I want harsh criticism...thus The OT.

Anyone agree that Parrain's is better?

Everybody knows that.

Mike's got left in the dust years ago. Not even close to what it once was.

Mike Anderson's was complete crap the last time I went. First time I went in years. Worst crawfish bisque I have ever eaten.

The only time the fry grease gets changed at Mike Anderson's is when the place burns down.

Mike Anderson's hasn't been good since the late 80s/early 90s.

Parrains has long replaced MA and Drusilla,etc..as BR's best batterhouse of fried La fare since O'Brien's Ice House transformed into Parrain. Jasmine's also smokes MA and Drusilla,etc..

ETA: I consider La Lagniappe, Juban's, Galatoire's,etc.. more formal, slightly pricier, and in a different category of dining.

You should probably read FDB more often.

Where oh where is CIT when we need him! He'd be telling his working at Mike Anderson stories!
