Pre-Order iPhone 6 will be delivered when?

Is my understanding correct that if you pre-order the iphone 6 that you will NOT receive it on Sept. 19?
(I'm sure this has been asked and answered many times on this board, but actually DID search)
Just a yes or no or "You're an idiot" is sufficient.

i think it depends on how soon you pre-order. the longer you wait the longer the ship date i believe.

Well, I guess my question is....If I pre-order...will I get my phone on Sept 19?
It doesn't seem to read that way. That is the way it was before last year.

I'm starting to think that Apple will not ship pre-orders UNTIL the 19th....meaning I won't get it until 22, 23 or 24..if not later.

Yes, I saw that...but I don't live close to a Apple Store.
I know their purpose....get the consumer in so we can sell them MORE shite....accessories, etc....

If you get in the first wave -- meaning order close to 12 AM PST on Friday -- they ship to arrive on Friday.

That is a true statement base on their M.O. before last year. Now I'm not so sure.
Is that just your opinion, or have your read or heard that somewhere?

That just brings me to the apple.com site that says that the phones is SHIP on September 19.
I'm not trying to be difficult, but I'm afraid that if I pre-order then I won't get my phone on the 19th.

What is the return policy of the pre-ordered iPhones if you don't like it for some reason? Can I return it in person to the Apple Store or the ATT store? How long so I have to make that decision?

If you buy it on apples website you can return it to any retail location 30 days after purchase.
One caveat. If you bought it on a carrier plan, they will have their own restrictions. ATT only gives you 14 days for a refund and only 3 days to un-do your upgrade if you upgraded.

When the preorder is available 9/12 on Att or apple, will you be able to preorder the 6 plus or just the 6? I'm seeing conflicting things about whether you can preorder the 6 plus.
