I noticed SHS fans in the lower level of the south end zone. I thought they were being moved to the upper section?

The Rant was wrong. The number of visitors in the lower bowl were reduced, but not eliminated.

This. LSU can't move all visitors to the upper decks, although I wish we could.

That's not LSU's choice. Each visiting school gets a block of tickets in the lower bowl and can allocate them however they want to. I doubt Bama would choose to seat their band in the upper deck.

well, with the new acoustics in Tiger Stadium I should be able to hear Tiger Band....

Auburn does the same. Our band doesn't seem to do that very often.

SEC has rules in place on how many seats must be allocated in lower bowl areas. Those seats cannot be sold as season tickets as a result so lsu makes them part of the away team allotment each week. In the past lsu gave something like the min plus 1-2k. They moved those tickets and now are around the min allowed.
